How to Add a Column Image

  1. Open the campaign editor in Mage Loyalty.

  2. Click the Design tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Column Image section.

  4. Click the image upload area and select your image file.

  5. Check the live preview on the right to see how it looks in your chosen layout.

  6. Click Save.

ℹ️ Note

If no image is uploaded, the right column displays the Column Color instead. Set a Column Color in the Design tab as a fallback for any pages where the image fails to load.

Image Guidance

  • Format: JPG or PNG

  • Orientation: portrait or square, the image fills the full height of the right column, so tall images work best

  • File size: under 1MB for fast loading

  • Resolution: at least 800px tall to avoid looking blurry on retina screens

Removing the Image

  • In the Column Image section, click Remove below the image thumbnail.

  • Click Save. The right column will fall back to the Column Color.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

⚠️ Common Mistake

Selecting Card layout and wondering why the image option is missing. The Column Image section only appears when Two Columns is selected. Switch to Two Columns in the Layout section first.

⚠️ Common Mistake

Uploading a wide landscape image. Landscape images may appear cropped depending on your layout. Use the live preview to check how your image looks before saving.

⚠️ Common Mistake

Uploading a very large file. Oversized images slow down the campaign block loading time. Compress images to under 1MB before uploading.
