The Kimonix integration lets you embed AI-powered Kimonix elements (such as personalised product recommendations) directly inside your loyalty sidebar.
Enable the integration
In the Mage Loyalty app, go to Integrations.
Open the Merchandising category in the left menu, then click Manage on the Kimonix card.
Click Enable.
That's it. Once enabled, the Kimonix Element block becomes available inside the sidebar block builder.
Add a Kimonix Element to the sidebar
Go to Account Sidebar in the Mage admin.
On the Blocks tab, click Add and choose Kimonix Element.
Paste your Kimonix placeholder ID into the block's settings.
Save the sidebar.
You can add multiple Kimonix Element blocks if you want to render different Kimonix blocks in the same sidebar.
Where to find your placeholder ID
The placeholder ID comes from your Kimonix account. In Kimonix, open the element or campaign you want to display, and copy the placeholder identifier shown in its settings. Paste that value into the block in Mage.
If the block appears empty on the storefront, double-check that the placeholder ID matches an active element in Kimonix and that your Kimonix account is set up for your store.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything from Kimonix to make this work? You'll need an active Kimonix account configured for your Shopify store. The Mage integration only handles rendering the Kimonix element inside the sidebar.
