Connect Mage Loyalty to your Re:amaze helpdesk to give your support agents instant access to customer loyalty data.
What does the integration do?
The Mage Loyalty integration for Re:amaze adds loyalty data to your customer contacts. This means your agents can:
See a customer's points balance, VIP tier, and referral link alongside their conversations
Build Re:amaze workflows that triage conversations by loyalty status, for example routing VIP customers to a priority queue
The data updates automatically whenever a customer earns points, redeems a reward, or changes VIP tier, so agents always see current information.
How to connect Mage Loyalty with Re:amaze
Before you start, make sure you have:
Admin access to your Re:amaze account
Mage Loyalty installed on your Shopify store
Step 1: In your Shopify admin, open the Mage Loyalty app and go to Integrations.
Step 2: Click on the Re:amaze integration card.
Step 3: Enter your brand subdomain. This is the part before .reamaze.io in your Re:amaze address. For example, if your Re:amaze account is at acme.reamaze.io, enter acme. You can find this on your Re:amaze Brand Settings page.
Step 4: Enter the login email of the Re:amaze staff account the API token belongs to.
Step 5: Enter your API token. To generate one in Re:amaze, go to Settings > Developer > API Token and click Generate New Token.
Step 6: Click Connect Re:amaze.
What customer data is synced to Re:amaze?
Mage updates the following Customer Data Attributes on each contact. They appear under the first message of every conversation from that customer, and on the contact's profile in your Contacts section.
Attribute | What it shows |
Current spendable points
Current VIP tier name, or "Not enrolled"
Customer's unique referral link
Date they joined the loyalty program
The customer's email address in Re:amaze must match their email in your loyalty program for the data to link correctly. If you require any additional attributes, please contact the Mage Loyalty team.
Using loyalty data in your workflows
Because the loyalty data lives on the contact as Customer Data Attributes, you can use it as a condition in Re:amaze automation workflows. For example, you could automatically tag or prioritise a conversation when mage_vip_tier is set to one of your higher tiers, so your team always spots your best customers first.
To build a workflow, go to Settings > Automation > Workflows in Re:amaze and add a condition based on the attribute you want to use.
How to disconnect
In your Shopify admin, open Mage Loyalty and go to Integrations
Click on the Re:amaze integration
Click Disconnect
Confirm the action
Loyalty data will stop updating on your Re:amaze contacts. Any attributes already added will remain on the contacts until they are overwritten or removed. You can reconnect at any time by following the setup steps above.
