The Call to Action Button block is designed to stand out and drive customers to a specific destination, a sale, a new collection, a referral page, or anywhere else you want to send them.
This block is visible to all customers, logged in or not.
When to Use This Block
Drive traffic to a time-sensitive promotion or sale
Prompt customers to start a referral, e.g. "Refer a Friend, Earn 200 Points"
Link to your loyalty landing page for new customers who want to learn more
Promote a subscription sign-up or membership offer
✅ Tip
The Call to Action button is the most visually prominent block in the sidebar after the Loyalty Program block. Use it for your single most important action, not as a second navigation menu. One clear call to action is far more effective than several competing ones.
How to Configure the Call to Action Button Block
From your Shopify admin, open the Mage Loyalty app.
In the left menu, click Account Sidebar.
Click the Blocks tab.
Find the Call to Action block and click on it to expand its settings.
Make sure the block toggle is turned on.
Enter the Button Text and the URL the button should link to.
Click Save.

ℹ️ Note
The button inherits your sidebar's primary colour from the Design tab. If you want the button to stand out, make sure your primary colour is set to a bold, high-contrast value in Account Sidebar → Design.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
⚠️ Common Mistake
Using a vague button label: "Click Here" or "Learn More" give customers no reason to act. Use specific, benefit-led text that tells them exactly what they will get.

Leaving a campaign-specific button live after the campaign ends: if you set up a "View Sale" button for a weekend promotion, remember to update or disable the block once the sale is over.
⚠️ Common Mistake
Not checking the button colour: the button uses your sidebar primary colour. If that colour is very light or blends into the background, the button may not stand out. Adjust the primary colour in Account Sidebar → Design.
Troubleshooting
The button is not visible in the sidebar
Confirm the block toggle is turned on and that you clicked Save.
Check that Button Text has been entered. An empty label may cause the button to not render.
The button is not linking to the right page
Check the URL format. Internal links should start with /. External links need https://.
Test by clicking the button on your live storefront after saving.
