The Featured Products block displays a curated grid of products inside the Account Sidebar, pulled from a collection of your choice. It gives customers a way to browse and discover products without leaving the sidebar, turning their loyalty account into a mini shopping experience.
This block is visible to all customers, logged in or not.
Tip
The Featured Products block works best when the collection is kept fresh. A customer who opens the sidebar and sees the same products every time will stop noticing the block. Rotate the featured collection regularly: new arrivals, seasonal picks, or current promotions.
How to Configure the Featured Products Block
From your Shopify admin, open the Mage Loyalty app.
In the left menu, click Account Sidebar.
Click the Blocks tab.
Find the Featured Products block and click on it to expand its settings.
Make sure the block toggle is turned on.
Enter a Section Title for the block heading.
Click Select Collection and choose the collection you want to feature.
Click Save.
Product Visibility Requirements
For a product to appear in this block, the following must be true:
The product must belong to the selected collection.
The collection must be published.
The product must have the Online Store sales channel enabled. Products restricted to other channels (POS, Wholesale, etc.) will not appear in the sidebar.
Note
You can check or update a product's sales channels from its product page in Shopify admin, under Product status > Sales channels and apps. Make sure Online Store is ticked.

Naming the Section
The Section Title appears as a heading above the product grid. It sets the context for what customers are looking at. Give it a name that matches the collection you have selected.
Match the title to the collection: if the collection is "New Arrivals", use "New Arrivals" or "Just Dropped".
Keep it short, one to three words. The sidebar has limited horizontal space.
Avoid generic titles like "Products". They give customers no reason to look.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Common Mistake
Selecting a collection with out-of-stock products: products that are out of stock will still appear in the block. If your collection contains many sold-out items, customers will see products they cannot buy. Use a collection that is actively curated and in stock.
Common Mistake
Never updating the featured collection: a static block that always shows the same products becomes invisible over time. Treat it like a homepage banner, refresh it regularly.
Common Mistake
Using a very large collection: the block shows products from the collection in order. If your collection has hundreds of products, only the first few will be visible. Use a focused collection of 4 to 12 products for the best result.
Common Mistake
Forgetting to enable the Online Store sales channel on a product: if a product is restricted to channels like POS or Wholesale, it won't appear in the sidebar block even if it's in the selected collection. Open the product in Shopify admin and make sure Online Store is enabled under Sales channels.
Troubleshooting
The block is enabled but showing no products
Check that the selected collection is published and contains active, in-stock products.
Confirm each product has the Online Store sales channel enabled. Products restricted to other channels will not appear.
Go to Online Store > Collections in your Shopify admin and confirm the collection is visible and has products in it.
Confirm you clicked Save after selecting the collection.
Some products are missing from the block
The missing products may not have the Online Store sales channel enabled. Open each missing product in Shopify admin and check the Sales channels and apps section.
The wrong products are showing
Click the Featured Products block to expand it and check which collection is currently selected.
If the collection is correct but the product order looks wrong, review the product order in that collection in Online Store > Collections in your Shopify admin. The block follows the same order as the collection.
