Judge.me Integration

Award your customers loyalty points every time they leave a product review through Judge.me. This guide walks you through connecting Judge.me to Mage Loyalty.

Prerequisites

  • An Essential plan or higher on Mage Loyalty

  • Judge.me installed on your Shopify store

Step 1: Connect Judge.me to Mage Loyalty

  1. In Mage Loyalty, navigate to Integrations → Judge.me

  2. Click the Connect with Judge.me button

  3. Sign in to your Judge.me account when prompted

  4. Review the requested permissions and click Allow

  5. On integration success page, click the "Close page" button.

  6. Your Judge.me integration should now be connected.

Step 2: Create the Earning Rule

  1. In your Shopify admin, open the Mage Loyalty app

  2. Click Loyalty in the left menu

  3. In the Earning Points section, click Add Earning Rule

  4. Under Essentials, choose Leave a review. If your store already has a Leave a review rule, open it from the list in the Earning Points section instead

  5. Configure the rule:

    • Earning rule name — Give the rule a name (e.g. "Leave a Review")

    • Under Select your review app, choose Judge.me

    • In Amount earned, enter the number of points to award per review (e.g. 100)

    • (Optional) Enter a Photo review amount or a Video review amount to award a different amount for reviews with photos or a video. Leave them empty to use the amount above. If a review has both, the video amount is used

  6. (Optional) Set a frequency limit to prevent abuse. For example, you can limit customers to earning points for 1 review every 7 days

  7. Make sure the rule is enabled using the status toggle in the sidebar

  8. Click Save

That's it - you have now connected Judge.me to Mage and can award customers points for leaving reviews.

Troubleshooting

A customer left a review but did not earn

  • Check Judge.me shows as Connected on the Integrations page

  • Check the rule is enabled, Select your review app is set to Judge.me, and Program Status is Enabled on the Loyalty page

  • Check the review is published in Judge.me. A review waiting for moderation earns once it is published

  • Check the reviewer is a customer in your loyalty program. A review that Mage cannot match to a loyalty customer earns nothing

  • If the rule has a frequency limit, check the customer was not already rewarded for another review within that period

  • Check the review was not already rewarded. Each review is rewarded once
