The Activity Overview section gives a logged-in customer a snapshot of their loyalty account on your landing page. It shows a greeting with their balance, an optional description, and a table of their recent activity, such as points earned and rewards redeemed.
To edit it, go to Loyalty Pages in Mage Loyalty. Under Storefront, find Landing Page and click Customise. Then select Activity Overview in the Sections list on the left.
This section lives on your loyalty landing page. If you have not set that page up yet, follow the loyalty page step in the Quick Start Guide first.
Who sees this section
Only logged-in customers see the Activity Overview, because it shows their own balance and history. Visitors who are not logged in do not see it at all. In the Shopify theme editor, sample data is shown so you can check the look without logging in.
Settings
Setting | What it does |
Greeting Text | The headline at the top of the section. Defaults to You have {points} Points. Leave it blank to hide it. |
Description | A line or two under the greeting. Defaults to Here's an overview of your current points balance and recent activity. Leave it blank to hide it. |
Placeholders
Placeholders fill in with the customer's own details. The VIP placeholders work in both fields.

For example, a description of {currentTier} tier, {remaining} to {nextTier} tells each customer where they stand. The word Points in your greeting changes to Point when a customer has exactly 1 point.
If your store uses store credit instead of points, use {store_credit} for the balance. The defaults become You have {store_credit} and Here's an overview of your current store credit balance and recent activity.
Below the main card is an Advanced Settings card. Click View to open it and add Custom CSS for this section. The editor suggests the Activity Overview class names as you type, and a counter shows how close you are to the 64 KB limit. Your CSS is saved with the rest of the section.
What the activity table shows
Below the greeting, each customer sees their own history. You do not set this up. It is built from their account.

Points | Points earned or spent, with a status label (for example Pending) and an expiry date where relevant. Stores using cashback see Amount here, and store credit stores see Store credit. |

The table shows 5 rows at a time, with buttons to move between pages. A customer with no history yet sees No activity yet.
Theme editor settings
Colours and spacing are set on the Mage Activity Overview block in your Shopify theme editor.
Setting | What it does |
Colors | Background, title, description and Points Highlight Color (the colour of the balance in the greeting). |
Table Styling | Table header and table border colours. |
Custom vertical padding | Turn on to set your own Top padding and Bottom padding. |
Disable Customizer Styles | Removes the colours above so the block is styled only by your own CSS. |
Saving and going live
Save your changes. As soon as you edit a field, a save bar appears at the top of the screen. Click Save in the save bar, or use the Save button at the bottom of the card.
Check the confirmation. A message saying Activity overview content saved successfully appears once the save is done.
Discard if needed. Click Discard in the save bar to go back to your last saved version.
Make sure the block is on the page. Click Customise page in Shopify Theme Editor at the top right of the Landing Page editor. Check that the Mage Activity Overview block is on your loyalty page. If it is not, add it, then click Save in the theme editor.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Testing while logged out. This section is hidden from visitors who are not logged in. Log in as a customer to see it on your store.
