Installing Mage Loyalty from the Shopify App Store

Installing Mage Loyalty takes less than two minutes. It is available on the Shopify App Store and installs like any other Shopify app, no code required.

Before You Start

  • You need a Shopify store with an active plan

  • You must be logged in as the store owner or have a staff account with app installation permissions

  • Mage Loyalty works with all Shopify plans. Some features require a specific Mage Loyalty plan; see Plans & Pricing for details

How to Install

  1. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Mage Loyalty, or access this direct link Mage Loyalty.

  2. On the Mage Loyalty app listing page, click Install.

  3. Shopify will ask you to confirm the permissions Mage Loyalty needs to access your store. Review these and click Install app to confirm.

  4. You will be redirected directly to the Mage Loyalty dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

ℹ️ Note

Mage Loyalty requires access to your store's orders, customers, and products in order to track purchases, award points, and manage rewards. These permissions are standard for loyalty apps and are reviewed during the install step.

After Installing

Once installed, you will land on the Mage Loyalty Overview dashboard. All metrics will show zero, this is expected for a new install. Nothing is configured yet.

Mage Loyalty is also accessible from the left navigation of your Shopify admin at any time under Apps > Mage Loyalty.

✅ Tip

After installing, the next essential step is enabling the Mage Loyalty app embed in your Shopify theme. Without this, nothing from Mage Loyalty will appear on your storefront.

Troubleshooting

I cannot find Mage Loyalty in the App Store

  • Search for Mage Loyalty directly. Check your email for the direct installation link sent by the Mage Loyalty team.

The install button is greyed out or unavailable

  • Confirm you are logged in to Shopify as the store owner or a staff member with permission to install apps.

  • If your store is on a trial plan, you may need to activate a paid Shopify plan before installing apps. Check your Shopify billing settings.

I was not redirected to Mage Loyalty after installing

  • Go to your Shopify admin, click Apps in the left menu, and look for Mage Loyalty in your installed apps list.

  • If Mage Loyalty does not appear, try reinstalling from the App Store. If the issue persists, reach out to the Mage Loyalty team through our live chat support for direct support.
